Methodology
The KOLON Intelligence Score (KIS) is a composite of four proprietary indices, normalised to a 0–100 scale. Each index is derived through a stable, deterministic process: the same subject produces the same result on every evaluation. The committee considers this consistency a strength.
| Indicator | Weight | Direction | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Narrative Recycling | 15% | Inverse | Satirical |
| Conviction Half-Life | 15% | Direct | Satirical |
| Intellectual Independence | 25% | Direct | Satirical |
| Engagement-to-Substance Ratio | 15% | Inverse | Satirical |
| Expertise Representation Variance | 15% | Inverse | Satirical |
| Audience Liquidity Utilisation | 15% | Inverse | Satirical |
| Alpha Accuracy | — | Reported only where documented | Factual |
| Profile Verification | Gate | Unverified subjects are Inconclusive | Factual |
Satirical indices are clearly labelled. They are not measurements of any person's real behaviour and should not be read as such.
Factual data — profile pictures, handles and verification status — is retrieved from publicly accessible sources. Follower counts, trades and predictions are never estimated or invented; where unavailable, they are shown as unavailable.
Discovery. Candidate subjects are proposed by the research engine and admitted only after their public X profile resolves through an independent source.
Refresh. Each visit requests a new retrieval cycle. Cycles are deduplicated to one per ten minutes; displayed timestamps reflect actual retrieval times.
Classification. Assigned according to each subject's dominant index. Approximately one in nine subjects is designated Inconclusive, reflecting the limits of available evidence.
